Suwon KT Sonicboom finished the regular season in second place with 37 wins and 17 losses, behind the SK Seoul Knights who finished with 40 wins and 14 losses. However, they failed to win the playoffs after losing to Anyang KGC. The SK Seoul Knights clinched their first Championship title in five years. Kim Sun-hyung was named the MVP. Suwon KT Sonicboom had aimed for a strong playoff run but failed. Anyang KGC achieved the feat of advancing to the Championship playoffs for the second year in a row. Last season, Anyang won the Championship title by winning four consecutive games against the regular season winner Jeonju. Suwon KT Sonicboom will aim for a strong playoff run next season.
